Very uggs genuine???

I have received 2 pairs of UGG boots from very this morning, and both have arrived in original UGG boxes.

Hello,I've received the Newberry style boots(in Ugg box)but the insoles are not soft sheepskin like other Uggs I have.Anyone know if this is how it should be?

I have some Uggs from Very and can assure you they are genuine uggs, i havent looked at the ones you have purchased (just saw this thread and half asleep at mo:o) , If you have a look at the genuine website you can see a lot of the new in stock is exactly the same, Im wondering if there is a difference in yours if you have bought last seasons perhaps? Very has been selling Uggs for 2 years i think now so it may be possible that they are selling off older stock, I find that a bit doubtfull though as Uggs sell out quick in Very as are such a popular item.
If you havent already then pop a note on the facebook wall and they will get Veryhq to deal with it, the girls on facebook are a lot more on the ball and you tend to get a much more personal response.
I will add that the uggs i got from Very were a thicker winter boot with a turn down fur top and they are really sturdy, i did get some classic talls from getthelabel which came in a bright sunshine shade:eek: but settled down with wear, i was a bit dubious that they were genuine but they were, again in my case they were older stock as soles do change and are different on each colour etc.
Very is a licensed seller of Uggs (and you know there isnt that much in uk) so there is no way they would sell fakes , i can assure you on that one.

I wonder if the pair you recieved were a pair that was sent back so the original box was damaged hence getting sent out in a standard box? The ones i got came in a lovely box (still got it upstairs:o), the only thing i can suggest is send that pair back whilst ordering a few pairs at same time, hopefully one will turn up in proper box:eek:, you could also explain on the facebook page if you havent already, I would be disapointed myself if they turned up in a none Ugg box, they arent cheap so you should expect the proper packaging:(

Useful info:

• Newberry leather boots by Ugg
• Lace detail; sheepskin cuff
• Twinface leather; sheepskin sock
• Tartan style fabric panel to the sides
• Leg height: 7.5 ins

Uppers: Fabric/leather. Lining: Leather/sheepskin. Sock: Sheepskin. Sole: Rubber. Colour: Stout.

hopefully thats right? looking at them id say they probably wouldnt come with the furry insole as they look like a hiking boot style? and the description says leather /sheepskin which may be more practical on that syle of boot?

According to the UggAustralia site the Newberry have "ultra soft sheepskin covered insoles"

yes thats slightly misleading from ugg actually as when you look at the pic showing the insole from your link you can see its not fur but leather

Hello,thanks for taking the time to reply.Went and checked them again today before deciding what to do(got 2 sizes, in big boxes,know how it is if you're not sure whether you're keeping an expensiive item,keeping them pristine etc? I give them the once over then can't be bothered to keep repacking them)Anyway have to correct my description,the sole inside of boot IS sheepskin but I knew that I'd been initially disappointed,it's the part over the foot/parts of the side that are not.I'm probably just concerned as a Very site reviewer for the sequin Uggs referred to authenticity,the Office description for the Newberry ones gave the impression they had the usual soft insides and other sites didn't seem to have this colour.Hey ho the price we pay for fashion,will take your advise and contact via FB,email on site down today anyway.Thanks again and best regards.I'll stop rambling on now!!

My UGGs came in the official UGGs packaging, perhaps it was a fluke that yours didn't as judging by this thread most people's have?
