    Hello Pollyanna

Take your cat to the vet at once, for a check up!!

My old girl peed on our spare bed. We were really shocked, it was so unlike her. She then peed on a rug in the living room, so we took her to the vet for a check up. Turned out the poor thing had cystitis. Meducation cleared it up.

A couple of years later she did the same again, this time the cystitis was more serious and she had to be on permanent medication. As she was a bit stiff as well, we also put a litter tray down so she didn't have to negotiate the cat flap if she didn't feel up to it. That was the solution we had right until she died.

There was another thread about this a couple of months ago, and lots of us were posting about similar experiences...this was often an indicator of an underlying problem - not always cystitis, but usually urinary tract.

Pleeeeeeeeease take her to get checked out.
