OK, if I really stretch my imagination, I can understand that some of the staff "don't really use email" and may have asked the OP to send their CV on their behalf.
But if I'm reading it correctly, the OP was at home on annual leave when this was done. Presumably therefore, using a computer at their home, or elsewhere, to access their work email account to do this.
Why not just use your own personal email, or even an anonymous hotmail account, which you have created just to send a load of CVs in one email? Why on EARTH would anyone think it's a smart move to send everyone's CVs via one, traceable, email account? And a work email, at that? Seriously, my jaw is on the desk.
Honestly, if I were an employer and thought I was employing someone who lacked common sense to that degree, I'd certainly not be viewing them as indispensible!!0
