Dryer in "under stairs" cupboard
Comments
-
Its better to have separate as the washer tends to take smaller loads due to dryerThanks! everyone.
I am gutted that I can't fit both washer and dryer in space. Because of slope of stairs, it's not quite high enough one on top of other and not quite wide enough for side by side.
Just have to decide which one will go in there now.
What's the general feeling on combined Washer/Dryers?0 -

Good idea! Didn't think of a smaller dryer. I only need a small one anyway as I would only use it occasionally when weather was bad.
Didn't want to go down the combi route as I thought there might be problems with them.
Am going to try and fit washer into new kitchen first (and dryer into cupboard) and if it won't work will have washer plumbed into cupboard with a "smaller" dryer.
As for a fire risk - I never go out, to bed etc with the washer switched on or plugged in so that's not a problem.
Thank You! everyone for your help.0 -
