I'm putting it away for Christmas but I want to make sure i've got the right kind of thing. He has an old computer but doesn't really use it so whilst it will be fine for storing any films he's took to, he won't want to do editing or have to mess about running wires from computer to TV screen?
Thanks for any help :-)
Depending on which model you bought, it may come with a cable that allows you to connect the flip camera directly to the tv.
I can't post links yet (too new), but if you google 'Flip connect to TV' there are quite a lot of good explanations around.0 -
Thanks for the info i have managed to find the 10" photo frame so bought myself one looks lovely
, when i asked about any of the cameras or camorders i was told there was none but during the discussion i was also told about a guy who had been in my local G***gow store demanding that staff scan all cameras and camcorders as he was buying them all (discounted ones) to sell on ebay , apparently he was very rude
(was eventually told to get to after he started swearing
) sorry but no need for that and also people get information on this thread from others who wish to help people get a bargain and then the re-sellers take the p*** and try scamming the very people who are helping them find the bargains in the first place :mad: the only good thing is i believe in karma and one day i think it will come back to bite them in the A**:D

Thanks so much for that. Yes it says my version has a TV cable so he should be good to go. He still holds the mouse with both hands 'to keep it steady' bless him.0 -

I managed to bag one of the Flip camcorders, absolute bargain at £20. I'm not sure what the RRP is on them anyway though as it doesn't seem to be HD and may be discontinued?0

What price are these scanning at? I saw a couple in store this morning but the 'helpful' SA was hanging around and the scanner is nowhere near.0 -
Thanks to this thread I have managed to pick up the £20 sewing machine and the £40 TOM TOM which cost £20 with the till split from the petrol station. Both these items I really needed but had to really look around for them. Thank you so much to all that have been posting finds. :T0
