Do you not think AW10 is a later model than SS10? Given that aw is autumn winter and ss is spring summer. I would have thought the oldest model would be the cheaper one.
The info in my post was that taken from those who have actually bought said models. The only thing I have ever been sure about is SS11 being £99. I do, however, think there is no logic to reducing a later model more than an earlier model so am dubious about the prices you have listed of the 2010 models.
I still think people should be looking for SS10 - given that's the number someone reported way back on page 118 (i think) even giving the barcode.
i'd like to agree as it seems logical...but in 2 of my local stores they have quite a few of the in car dvd players with the bloke on the front...but the code on them is AW09....i would think these are really old..yet none of these are reduced!!!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
In my store everything on the list scanned at full price but today the blenders, toasters and kettles were almost cleared....is there a way of delaying the reductions or do everybody suddenly need a full price toaster, kettle blender etc. Many of the empty spaces were defo the ones on the list.
I last scanned them on Monday.0 -

Ah thanks:o Just so pleased because they both laughed when I told them about the clocks and now they're literally lusting after mine:rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

I'm the half asian guy with the shaved head, so you'll know if it was me or not. I noticed 2 garmins had gone and the last one went yesterday. We have 3 price check points on health & beauty, meat aisle of fresh and 1 on clothing. They're all broke though. It's funny because there's a popular perception on here that we deliberately disable them, when in truth they break all the time and its an experience trying to get someone to fix them0 -

BONKERS!!!!
Surely they should be giving those away????
I suggest if you are looking for these dvd players, it is better to try all model numbers and see what prices come up as. Someone has stated the barcode on their cheap one so perhaps there is no consistency with the number on the front at all but maybe with the barcode. It's possible, they reverted back to barcodes after season changes believing older stock would have depleted.
I don't know. I was merely trying to help. I just know in my local, they only have AW11, which is the one I bought scanning at £99.97 (but with dtd because of the old SEL). The barcode on my box is 5052109665654. Actual code on box, no sticker.
I will also add, reports of discrepancies across stores....better to check than overlook any really.
I do hope people are successful in their searches. I will continue to look and if I come across any, I will buy and to help people out if I can.0 -

I have in front of me the twin DVD player I bought today for £24,
It is the box with the man on, model PDVDTWINAW10.
I scanned the SS10 at L0ughb0r0ugh Extra two days ago (with the man on the front) and it scanned at £79.

It was in Bull~bridge T's which is West London. I had really given up on finding them, but they were in exactly the same place as the others. In the baby aisle, top shelf with bankets and car seat thingies underneath!!!!Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
