TESCO Silly Price Electrical Items

Got two more netbooks today. One for £26 and the other £79. Tonight I found what I thought was a tomtom xxl on display and asked if I could buy it. I asked the assistant to check it as I thought the cheap one was a small display one but she said no the xxl as its name implied was a widescreen one. After much tooing and froing (as is usual on electrical sections at night) the keys to the lock up were found, the box located and the security tabs carefully prised off with her nice long nails!!!
It beeped at £40 rather than the £25 I was expecting but I'd got a tillspit for 20 pounds off any tomtom and £4 was knocked off as it was ex-display so I duly paid my £16 happy with my purchase.
Got home and discovered the power lead or USB lead don't fit!! Managed to find a USB cable in amongst the many in my drawer that fitted so powered it up and hooked up to tomtom.com to find its a start 25 not an xxl, so provided I can get a power lead for it I think I just bought a £150 satnav for £160 -
I'm thinking of a career change. I think I want to work at Tesco! We've spent so much time there over the last few days, it will feel like home! Plus, I'll get to see all the bargains first!
Now, just to break the news to my OH0 -
Well, this isn't really an electrical item... ink cartridges!
Found special multipacks in Tesco Extra in 3 Br1dges for a bargain price. They were CLI-8 colour inks (cyan, magenta and yellow) for Canon and a 50-sheet pack of glossy photo paper. SEL was £40.97 or something similar (defo this price on Tesco direct) but scanning through the tills at £4.08!
Bought all 4 packs on the shelf so I think I bought them all (sorry).
Afaik each colour cartridge is about £16 each (so my dad informs me) so £16 for 4 cartridges of each colour is outstanding!!
So happy about this; it's my first real bargain.
(Sorry, can't put in a link to the site as I'm still so new)
Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -

For any early birds...
There are two Hoover uprights FR7187 scanning at £18 in Su**ey Qu*ys Extra.
Does anyone know the model number for the Vax Cylinders scanning at £11? Cannot see it on the thread.

too early for me! I have been visiting there regularly now in the hope of getting a bargain but never seem to get anything:mad:
Did you just go and scan it first? Have you tried any of the laptops as that is what I really NEED?
Do I have to go again today, just in case??;)0
