Your O2 Money account is closing on 10 November

Why it's closing
O2 Money is launching a new and improved service later this year. And as a result, will be changing their banking partner.

When it's closing
After 3 November you won't be able to load any more money onto your card and your regular loads will automatically stop. If you want to stop your regular loads before then, sign into money o2 co uk.

Your account will then close on 10 November 2011. After that you won't be able to use the card to spend money. This is covered in your terms and conditions in clause 4.10.

Getting a cheque
We'll send you a cheque to the post code below for what's left by 30 November (about three weeks after the account closes). Make sure your address is correct as this is where your cheque will be sent. To view your full address go to money o2 co uk and sign into your account. If you want to close your account and get your cheque earlier, call us on 10202.

If you don't want a cheque, take your money out at a cash machine. Or use your card to buy something worth more than the balance in your account and pay for the rest with cash (you can do this in some shops and supermarkets, but ask them first).

What you need to do
If you don't have a bank account, or the name on your O2 Money card is different to the name on your bank account, you'll have to spend your balance by 10 November.

We recommend printing off your statements for your records. To do that, go to money o2 co uk and sign into your account.

After 15 December you won't be able to get into your account online or through to the call centre.

If you have any subscriptions (like for the internet or magazines) that you pay for with your O2 Money account, you'll need to change your details with that company. Or you might lose your subscription.

The new product will be crammed full of features designed to work even better with your mobile. O2 will get in touch as soon as it's ready to go.

Sounds interesting, But if they start having charges to withdraw etc, People wont happy.
