They maybe don't charge interest but they charge more than there other brands so you are paying more for your items0

I emailed them a while ago asking them why they did a 4 weekly payment plan and not just do it with how everyone is paid monthly.
Actually it is not very common to get paid monthly on a set date. More people get paid weekly, fortnightly or 4 weekly which makes a four weekly payment plan much easier. I can honestly say that out of all of my family and friends I don't know a single one who gets paid on a set date each month. Even benefits are weekly/fortnightly not on a set date each month.
More people have the problem the other way around, like myself, I get paid four weekly but my bills all go out on set dates each month, great for knowing where you are but not good when they are all due just before payday.
I very rarely have anything outstanding on my credit card and prefer to pay it off each month but for just after a big purchase and I'm spreading the cost (still interest free) I wouldn't think I could pay £200 one month and not pay my minimum payment the next. If I choose to overpay to reduce my debt unless the debt is cleared I still owe them the minimum payment the next month. It's just that, a minimum payment.0 -
That's strange Fosterdog, because I have the opposite experience. I don't know anyone that gets paid on a weekly (or x-weekly) basis. I get paid on the last working day of the month, my girlfriend gets paid on a specific date each month. I had assumed those were the standard ways.0

I get paid 4 weekly - it's great on that 13th month when you have no bills, but it can be a pain to organise payments at other times.0

Other than when I first started work as an apprentice and was paid weekly (in cash), I have ALWAYS been paid monthly on a set date. (Sometimes I've been paid weakly, but that's a separate issue.
)
In my experience being paid on a set rotation (e.g. 4-weekly) is not the norm.0 -
my partner gets paid 4 weekly.
KandCo are bad at being helpful,
we bank with NatWest and when their was that banking problem last year our DD to KandCo didn't go out until 2 days after it was supposed to and KandCo tried to charge us £64 due to phone calls late charges and such.
We where lucky though because NatWest had agreed to cover the charges they got in contact with KandCo and managed to get the charges dropped to £12 (which NatWest covered) and we received a letter of apology from KandCo and a code for £50 free shopping!
Good result really0
