Thames Water number of monthly payments?

So I have finally sorted out getting a Thames Water account for my rented flat. The bill is £283.66 they are asking for half the bill now and then the rest by 1st October 2011.
We are going to set up DD's to pay this over the year as we don't have the cash to pay in full now but the only monthly options are:
1 payment a year
2 payments a year
8 payments a year
I thought it was possible to pay over 10 months.
EDIT: Set it up online and was able to select 12 months just waiting for confirmation that it's been set up now.
