Is there really a difference /benefit of going for the latest phone?
HTC Sensation has a 1.2 GHz dual core processor but does that make it faster / better than Desire S or Incredible S?

It depends what you are going to use the handset for, as time goes on and resource hungry apps arrive , then the dual core units may prove a great advantage.0

Re the processor, it's the same as for PCs. Only you know whether you need the most advanced one and want to pay for it.0 -

The Sensation is HTC's current flagship phone. It's actually a 1.5Ghz CPU they've underclocked to 1.2GHz (maybe so it makes the upcoming Sensation Beats Special Edition look better value - http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/31/htc-working-on-sensation-special-edition-with-beats-and-1-5ghz-d/)
The Incredible S is not too far off in specs, but is currently available at CPW for £269.95 SIM free, which is a bargain - http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/mobile-phones/HTC-INCREDIBLE-S/HANDSET0 -
yep thats why i was asking because of the current Incredible S price at CPW and very tempted to get it...0
