o2 sim in a Tesco Mobile phone?

Does anyone know if i can put an o2 sim in a Tesco Mobile phone without unlocking it or would i need to get it unlocked?

It works only the other way round, i.e. Tesco sim in O2 mobile.

Tesco shares o2's network BUT as they are a separate company I'd say it most likely won't work without unlocking.

BUT saying that a few of my o2 contract mobiles have been unlocked from day one so you never exactly know.

You'll have to try, failing that pay a local mobile phone dealer or try on the net for free codes.
