Hello Lovely Ladies!
Just a quick 'un from me as I have completely lost track of the day
I've been chosen to trial the new max factor Ageless Elixer Foundations - and part of the welcome package is 16 samples to send out with Market Research forms. Would any of you be interested in being one of my guinea pigs? I'd send you the sample, the form and a money-off coupon and you'd need to fill in the form and send it back (email would do or I would send an SAE if you'd rather post it).
Let me know if you fancy it and once I've got the samples I'll gather addresses)
I've posted this on the FB group too but I know a lot of you aren't members so wanted to make sure everyone could play
would love to....I did not get chosen but they sent me a survey to fill in:(0 -
My perfumes and stuff are creeping up for some reason. Mum gave me a nearly full bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier (the blue bottle shaped like a man's torso) plus I still have the mysterious half bottle of some random perfume that somehow ended up in my room
Good thing is, I never buy perfumes myself so the list won't go up but it will take a while to go down.Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -
UU OS honey and Shea hand wash - this is one of my faves.
Avon delivery has arrived cherry shampoo and hair refresher, shine drops and 2 tubes of spa hand cream.0 -
Can I join? I have just moved into a room rather than a flat and was given loads of stuff from my flatmate so I have plenty to use lol. I will post later with my list of stuff!0

Hi
I'd like to join for September please. I used to do this challenge last year but it dwindled for me as I was pregnant and had enough problems staying awake never mind using up toiletries. I still havr my old list so am going to update it and then start afresh.0 -
I UU to report:
Lush Snowcake Soap - Love the scent but it doesn't last well on the skin. Also it's quite a soft soap so you go through it really quickly. So I read through all of this thread...and next thing I find myself on ebay looking for feminine by D&G my favourite no longer made perfume. Think I missed the point there hahaha!
I am trying not to buy stuff, have been for months. I don't really manage to use things up though as I developed excema and have lots of lovely things that irritate my skin now grrr!
Regarding returning stuff to Boots, I complained by email about a Boots own brand deoderant that I'd bought just because I thought it was crap. They told me to return it to the store so you shouldn't have a problem with that. Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!
Best wins this year so far: £100 Hobbycraft Voucher, £50 cash, GoPro Camera0 -
I have an IN to declare but it is something that I need and isn't adding to the stash. MrM has bought me the Elemis kit I mentioned above. Here is link to it from John Lewis: http://www.johnlewis.com/231339860/Product.aspx.
As I said I am low on my PCMC cream and I love the Neck and Bust Cream. Have one other 15ml tube in my stash. Will take all these items away with me as they are handy travel sizes.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Afternoon peeps :hello:
Welcome to all new members  looking forward to some stash lists
Keep those names coming for the Max Factor samples - I still have 12 to dish out
I'm getting very  at the price of cotton wool pads. I needed to buy some today so headed up the high street. In SD they were almost £2 for 50 - thats almost 4p a pad  Boots are just as bad  I ended up getting a pack of 70 for £1.20 from lloyds but will definately be stocking up in Wilkos next time I go there 'cos they are about 60p for 50. I have tried to get on with the muslin cloths but they just don't work for me - and the £land ones just disintegrate
And - I've tried to follow your example with the shampoo before but never felt my hair was getting clean (and certainly not conditioned!) with such a small amount. However, since I've been using the S&G Glad Hair Day I've reduced the amount of shampoo I use by quite a lot and the conditioner by a fair bit too :T
Thanks to whoever recommended the Compeed Cold Sore Patches they worked a treat  Took me a few goes to get them positioned right (compared to the example in the instructions I have teeny tiny lips - most of it was ending up in my mouth :rotfl:) I will definately be buying again :T
and thanks to whoever gave the heads up on the Elle magazine voucher in the Metro the other day - I picked one up yesterday for the train journey on monday and have put the varnish away for DD :T
No IN's, OUT's or shake it all abouts on the toiletries frontbut we did get 3 months worth of Dog Food and a rather fetching Pink Buster Collar for LD from the local Animal Charity we (used to) foster for. We only popped in to buy some puppy pads and they were over stocked with donations so loaded us up :money:
It's very quiet on here so I hope every is out having a great weekend - hugs to all :cool:0 -
sarah*a - I know what you mean about cotton wool pads. In the body shop they sell little mini face cloths, that I use to put toner or eye makeup remover on. They come in a set of 4, you can use them a couple of times each and then they come with a little bag that you can put them in and then chuck in the washing machine. They can be a little weird feeling at first (they seem a bit like microfibre cloths to me) but you get used to them. It saves you money and you're helping the environment. I chuck them in when I'm washing towels and it works a treat.
ETA: Just checked the website and they don't seem to be selling them any more but you could always make your own by cutting up an old (or new) flannel/Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
