Mostly because of an addiction to glitches and special offers :D

  • Hello, I'm in again, well of course, I am... Thanks for starting it EH. Helen, what a wonderfully funny post over in August's thread, really made me laugh.
Disenchanted, I don't have much of a stash but I still have more than I need of a lot of things!
I think I forgot to say how good the Aldi nose pore cleansing strips were. Every bit as good as they were when they first came on the market, with excellent clear instructions for getting the best use from them. One strip got 90% of the blocked pores clear and a second strip three days later picked up the few stragglers.
Very, very disappointed with the Bush Essentials body and face wash as a body wash. The most expensive body wash I've ever bought. gorgeous smell, but pretty u.s. For 'no nasties' read 'no foaming action either'. It's in a foaming pump bottle but a dozen squirts didn't give enough to generate any sort of rich lather. I topped it up with the Lacura 5% urea as that is very pure and unscented and generated enough lather to get squeaky clean.
It was pleasant to use as a face wash, so I'll use it for that. I haven't got the patience to press the pump twenty times to get enough foam for a decent body wash.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

I'm in too. Thanks EH for starting the thread. I really need to knuckle down this month as we go to the US at the end of October and I want to save money to buy more stash there (shameless I know but it should be :money:due to the exchange rate).

I'm also trying not to follow my usual trend of thinking wahay new month what can I buy? Instead have been in the stash and "bought" a new tub of Boots Fairtrade Extacts coconut body butter which I've used this morning along with my Philosophy Double Cocoa shower gel and S&G Breakfast Scrub. Can see the bottom of the pot of the Breakfast Scrub but I have another scrub in stash so won't be repurchasing that.

Have painted my nails this morning as well and am wearing Leighton Denny's I Love Juicy. Will probably have to buy more nail lacquer remover this month.

Have a good day ladies. Take care. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

A GA to report - the hotel freebie mini shower gel to MrEH as predicted. I expect he'll get at least one or two more of these before the year is up - not too sad about that, I have nicer ones!

Also, a UU I forgot about - a mini Clinique eye makeup remover - WIBA? no - nothing special, certainly no better than my HG L'oreal one and about ten times the price as I only ever buy the other one on offer!
