First of all I apologise as I know this has been asked before but I can't find it...
We move in to our new home on Friday, who do I need to tell?
So far I have:
Car registration
Driving license
Bank
Tv license
Council tax
Phone line
Gas and elec
Home insurance
Rented acommadation
Car insurance
Royal mail
Anyone else?

Get a three or six month mail re-direction as that will remind you when someone writes to you with the re-direction that you haven't told them of your move. Also you won't then miss anything you don't want to. It can be done on-line with Royal Mail but there is a charge.0

Reward cards (Nectar, Tesco Clubcard, Boots etc)
Inland Revenue

Have already done the royal mail redirection but wanted to contact everyone as soon as possible rather than wait for a letter.0 -
Also when you do the council tax ask them to do the electrol role as well.0

Don't forget to take a meter reading for the electricity in your new house and let the company know the exact date you move in so that if there are any unpaid bills fromt he previous owner you shouldn't get any hassle from them.0

It's canvass time so electoral role should be taken care of that way. Even if you tell them now, you'll still have to fill in the canvass form.0
