I take this to mean you don't need a licence if you only watch 'catch up' services, such as BBC iPlayer.

It wasn't the smartest thing to do giving up my job but I am applying for jobs everyday. When my daughter goes back into school I'm going to be volunteering which I did before I found work. I was starting work at 1.30pm and finishing at 6.30pm so child costs were also coming into it.
I am more than happy to work full time and like I said before i'm applying for full time jobs aswell as part time.
I'm really not asking for sympathy It was really just a bit of advice really. But thank you for the advice regarding the TV licence I'm going to be buying one today.
Then you have my apologies midnight sky.
I'm not sure how anyone can help if you circumstances are in a transitory condition though.
Good luck with finding work, because feeling helpless at the mercy of circumstances, only add to the burden. Even if it's poorly paid, a job gives you the benefits of getting out, and occupying your mind with something else. You can always move forwards from there too, with an improved work record to back you up.0
