How soon will iPhone 4 prices drop?
My 3GS contract ends early October and I am looking to upgrade to an iPhone 4 rather than the 5, but I will feel miffed if the prices drop considerably a few weeks later!
I can't afford to buy a handset outright so it has to be contract.
Do the prices really drop that much and so soon after the new release? I won't mind so much if any reduction doesn't happen until the new year, for example.
Any thoughts welcome.

In my experience, the prices don't tend to drop by much. Apple generally recall the old product and then release a lower spec version as a reduced price. For example the 3GS 16GB got recalled and they released the 8GB version.Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug).
