onestopphoneshop claiming cashback
My four months is nearly up and i am about to claim cashback from onestopphoneshop. Do i send my letter by recorded or registered delivery? I take it they accept photocopies of the invoice. What about through email?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Will only take an original 'usually'...
Re-prints are available from your service provider if it does go missing
Send via recorded 'signed for' mail
costs an extra 63p on top of the stamp costif i had known then what i know now0 -
All my OSPS paperwork requests only copies of the most recent invoices.0

I have had a few cashbacks from OSPS.
Call Customer Services 0845 4567878
Confirm it is the correct bill
Take a note of the time and the persons name
Photocopy the relevant bill
Send a covering letter quoting date, time, telephone number (as above) and persons name - that they had confirmed it was the correct bill to send
I send mine by spec delivery to arrive by 1pm next day - make sure its a weekday! It costs £3.75 but I do it this way for peace of mind - its worth it as you a claiming a few quid!
In your letter tell them you will ring them in a few days to confirm all is OK
Ring them in a few days.
This way all should be OK
Hope this helps

They write
"Copy the first 2 pages ot most recent airtime invoice and attach this to..."
Strongly agree about recorded mail. Do not even think about e-mail! Be very careful with OSPS.
Cool.. Never dealt with OSPS, Many others will only take originals
Nice to know for future thoughif i had known then what i know now0 -
I'm in the same boat.
My 4th bill is due in a couple of days and I'll be sending off for my first set of cashback. I also recommended 8 other people (friends and family) who all took out the same deal (it was free!) so they will all be doing it in the next few weeks as well...
Fingers crossed... they seem fine so far (except I haven't had all my referals cash, but this will be sorted this week I hope!)

Hi Trev
Good advice.
One money saving tip - ring them via 01270504400 which is the "proper" (ordinary) phone number for CS.0 -
Why such a haste?TREVORCOLMAN wrote:I send mine by spec delivery to arrive by 1pm next day - make sure its a weekday!
OSPS give you 45 days. The only advantage of Special Delivery as compared with Recorded one is next day delivery. 0 -
I sent copies by recorded delivery (I checked with the Post Office ok to PO Box) on a Wednesday afternoon; cheque next Wednesday morning0
