Can't copy from HD to dvd

Hi I'm sure it's really simple, but then so am I when it comes to computers :D I have a film on my PC's hard drive and I want to copy it onto a disc. When I go through the steps to burn the disc, all is OK until I go to select the file - then it's not there. When I open the folder with all the files in - it's empty.…

Whilst Ivrytwr3 is totally correct, the method I mentioned gives a better quality of burn as Imgburn is a more stable writer.

The last thing he wants to do is back up a movie that his kids are probably gonna wreck then find out the back up's duff too.
