Thanks for starting the thread DNMS
Happy birthday Josie  What do you mean the 'ageing thing' - I think you have a way to go yet to catch me up :rotfl:

    So far today;

    Breakfast from stores

Checked online banking to make sure they really had closed the poorly paying savings account I closed yesterday. Only £50 in it, but this can be paid off mortgage, and it tidies things up not to have loads of rubbish accounts with little bits of money in them (I still have 2 with £1 in, and one with 14p, so more work to be done here I think :rotfl:)

Paid the £50 off the mortgage :D

I know, that 's not much done so far, but to be fair I am on hols this week :D

    To do:

Pick yucky bits off chicken carcase for doglet's breakfast, as she doesn't think they are yucky, and I have enough stock in the freezer at the mo Done

Cook up the extra mince that OH got out of the freezer on Monday - for some reason he thought I would need 2 packs to make a curry for 8 people :rotfl: Not with all the veg I add you don't! Healthier too :) I will make a mince and onion pie filling I think, as I haven't made a pie for ages. Will do in a minute

Clean another bedroom (only did one yesterday :o) Done, and the landing and bathroom :T Only leaves top floor to do tomorrow - but by then downstairs will need doing again :(

Self assessment tax return thingies for OH and I  (I have been putting these off due to house renovation / moving / DD2's wedding/waiting for various paperwork/ work being a nightmare, but have now run out of excuses :oDone :T But then had huge tax bills to pay  (or I thought they were huge, anyway!)

If I get these done, I will be happy, but will hopefully have a burst of energy and do loads more!

Took little dog 1 for her booster jab and check up and she needs a dental operation

What with that, the tax bills, and my car in for a service tomorrow I shall have to be extra careful this month

    Hi all

Thanks for starting us off DNMS :)

    Happy Birthday Josie!

I'm off work again today - slept really well last night after some night nurse but I found it sooooo difficult to get up this morning and can't concentrate on anything so thought I'd be useless at work anyway. :( Trying not to think about the place - that's probably just adding to the stress/lack of speedy recovery :(

So, today my small things will consist of not doing very much and chilling out :) Shall catch up with you guys and what you're up to.

Will check banking and see where I am...
Put a £2 coin in my stash
Probably think of a few more...

    xx

I was a bit lazy today and just put the gammon joint in the slow cooker with enough water to cover and put it on low all day. Usually I'd do it in cider or cola, or even put some veg in, but I was in a hurry this morning doing bread as well! :D
