I've had a few problems with this company now. the latest was a string of promises all broken.
Arranged a collection for Monday. no collection.
Contacted Monday night. apologies etc. promised collection Tuesday.
Contacted Tuesday to make sure.. It hadn't been booked. promised they would book it for collection Wednesday & was offered a £5 credit by way of apology.
Contacted them Wednesday to see if it was being collected. it had not been booked. nor had the £5 credit been issued.
Now told they could book it for Thursday and would offer a bigger credit.
bearing in mind some one has to be in on the day they collect. this makes for a very long wait.
I did copy all the conversations so they couldn't slip out of it.
I decided to cancel the order and book it myself. it cost the same and i got confirmation straight away via email.
the promise of collection/compensation are worthless.
I believe the problem with parcels to go is they can see only what is on their own system. a note to say it was/will be booked and the system has a serious flaw.
but i believe that order isn't getting to the courier. i rang the courier after booking myself (the same courier) and they told me they had had no orders placed for my postcode other than the one i booked myself.
until i booked direct. i couldn't check with the courier at all because you have to deal with Parcels2go.
Sorry Parcels2go. I have used you many times in the past but the last three collections have not been collected on the dates promised or indeed haven't been collected at all.
I will see if the refund comes though (which im sure i will have to chase)
My advise is. use Parcels2Go to find out who is cheapest and then go and book it direct.0 -
I booked a collection with Parcels2go today at 10.45, the parcel was picked up at 12.15. Have used before and can't fault their service.0
