If i were you id phone seat wave and really push to them that you only received your ticket the day that they were supposed to have the ticket by and that you had no idea that the deadline was that day or you would not have posted the ticket.

If you are persistant they may listen to you, but i wouldn't hold my breathe, is there any way you can prove the ticket was used? Surely there would be a record by the ticket company as you cannot scan the same ticket twice?
