I will prob get scorned for this but......
If the buyer/potential buyer is non responsive now then you could save yourself possible hassle by cancelling his bids and blocking him from bidding but politely emailing him to say that as you hadn't heard from him and he was the highest bidder at the time you didnt want him to feel obliged to purchase when you may not be able to meet him and assumed he hadnt seen your message. However still give him the option of bidding if/when he replies.
I have had very awkward/demanding buyers/potential buyers that just didnt feel right to me and I have blocked them to save myself any hassle. With cars there is the potential for more hassle than the normal run of the mill ebay sale.0 -
I agree you did not offer anything like that then tell them you cannot meet half way, You have no means of getting back home.
Say you will pick them up from a local station and if they provide proof of insurance they can drive you back home. If happy pay up if not drop them back at the station and relist.
Do not accept any offers, Its the Full bis price or go away.
If your willing to meet halfway you maybe willing to drop the price a lot?
Stick to your guns and dont let them drive if they dont have insurance until they have paid 1st. Never leave them with the keys.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

If the OP doesn't come back with an update we can assume that they met the winning bidder at Watford and subsequently got hit over the head with a baseball bat.
