Think Item I Won Is A Fake

if the disk is gold in colour then it is not a copy, copied dvd's tend to be purple underneath as this is the industry sttandard for commercial copying.
what is the film if it is say a new film just out in the cinema then yes it may be a copy and if you got it very cheap then it probably is!
report him to ebay they have their own people VERO who look into this and will warn him or shut him down if they think he is dodgy!Wins so Far: 21" lcd monitor, 6 day all expenses paid holiday to China, 8800GTX gfx card, 2x Panasonic cameras, 12 cups and Loads of Twix's, Coffee Lovers Hamper - Wild bean cafe. I bought a Disney one that sounds similar. The cover and insert are fine and have the genuine disney hologram on, the disc itself has a printed picture on the front and the back is a goldy colour. When you hold it up to the light it is slightly see through. I still have no idea whether it is fake or genuine. It too was a region one and as it played fine on my dvd player I just put the different disc colour down to it being a different region?! I think possibly it might be what they call a VCD, which I think is a video which has been copied onto a dvd. What worried me at the time was that after I had bought the dvd all traces of it were wiped off eBay. When I clicked on it as an item I had won it said that the item had been removed. I emailed the seller about this and he had said that they had done that to him before and he didn't know why, and insisted that the disc was genuine. He had got a 100% feedback rating. But I still don't know whether it is truly genuine or not.Accepted offer on our house - Sept 2006
