    Agreed, but I'd like to minimize the risk involved....... so whilst some (not all) prices are being slashed I will wait till the best opportunity arises, still saving a minimum of £1k a month, so will only be getting a better deal in the long run. Although I would like my own place right now!;)

    Thats a rubbish argument, It's called house price correction, Price are still dropping here in Cheshire and I will only buy when I feel the prices are at rock bottom.....
