iphone4 contract has ended...what should I do?

Options
Hello,

I am on a Tesco mobile iphone4 contract (£20pm) which expires in October, just looking for advice on what I should do when it expires

Options I'm looking at;

1. Switching to sim only (hopefully a £10 pm) contract for the forseeable future, benefits of having a good phone with a small monthly cost...

2. Considering selling the phone to recoup some of that large initial outlay with Tesco and before the iphone5 comes out? (which I probably won't bother buying, but better to sell the 4 before while the price i'd get is better?) But as to what other phone I'd get I'm unsure, as I do think it's a great phone and would be somewhat lost without it.

3....4....?

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks :beer:

    Do option '1' at least that's saving you some money.

    As for option '2' I guess it depends if you like the phone or not, if not sell it but you'd have to buy a PAYG phone to replace it, so can you buy the phone you really want for what you'd get for a secondhand iPhone 4?

    IMO, keep the iPhone and if you want the iPhone 5, sell it when it comes out.

    Since you've got a bit of time to decide, go in a mobile phone shop (or several!) have a look at all the different handsets, pick a few that you like the look of, have a good play with them and see which one you prefer. Make a note of the model(s) you're interested in, go home and have a rummage round the net for information about them. At least by trying them in a shop it should give you an idea of how they compare to your current phone and whether you actually want to change handset.
