Using GeoISP.co.uk on a TalkTalk line

I've seen https://www.geoisp.co.uk mentioned here on MSE
I think it's a dial-up service which they don't charge for, and you just pay your telephone company the cost of a local call whilst connected. Let me know if this is incorrect...
Can this service be used with TalkTalk? Since all UK calls with TalkTalk are inclusive in the monthly fee, would it be possible to connect to the net via geoisp.co.uk on a TalkTalk telephone line at no cost as it would be included in the inclusive monthly TalkTalk telephone fee?

well i'd imagine that your connecting via a pay as you go service - 0845... I'd be pretty sure that 0845 numbers are not free with Talk Talk... usually a UK call would be to a UK landline ie. 01 or 02 numbers0

I'd be connecting via TalkTalk on their all inclusive package so all UK calls have no additional charge other than the flat monthly fee, up to a maximum of 70 minutes per call.
With GeoISP does the user pay only the cost of a local call, and no fee actual fee for connecting to the internet?0 -
Also, on the GeoISP site https://www.geoisp.co.uk
it states that the number which you phone to connect is 020 8114 9845.
So it is an 02 number.0 -
... in that case then it's free
edit: i even see that geo are even telling you to sign up with 1899, etc, to get free access... I just don't see how they would make any money at all if they are telling everyone to do it for free....0 -
my thoughts exactly. I just found this ISP online and did a search on MSE to find this thread. I'm currently on it using 1899 at my mums house which doesnt have bb.
I think they may be testing it out to see if they can get any advertising/financial support. The fact there is no info on their site says a lot. I say use it to the max while you can.0 -
Its supplied by these people: http://www.coulomb.co.uk/products.html0
