Hello everyone.
Have fitted tv/freeview box to booster via co-x cable in loft. (As other tvs have been connected in house). Intermittently I get visual and audio disturbance on this one. Sometimes it picks up interference when power shower is on (!!?) and other times perfectly ok. The box/tv are on a cabinet where electrical wires travel behind it to a double socket. Could these wires be the problem? Other tvs around the house are in close proximity to sockets though...as most are, as they need to be plugged in.
Is this interference likely to be from power cables or from too strong a signal from the booster box? Do I need to fit an attenuator...if so...at what point on the cable?
Please help? Thanks for ALL your advice

You will just need to fault find and try and find what is unshielded, cheap cabling, connectors, amplifier, stb, move things around different rooms and swap items till you find the culprit.
Very much doubt its due to too strong a signal if the power shower is making a difference.
What main fuse is the power shower on? if its on the upstairs lightning circuit your amps to blame.0
