I have just got my quarterly on-line bill for the end of the accounting period and it shows an increase in my DD -see quote below:Payment Change
We've reviewed your account to make sure your payments are right for the amount of energy you use. Based on your energy usage over the last year and any changes to the rate you pay, your revised monthly payment will be £70.00 from 21 Feb 2007. This includes VAT at 5%. We'll arrange the payment change - you don't need to do a thing.
This announcement is right at the top of the bill and the heading is in bold, so much easier to see.
It was £66.50 and I have finished the year £41 in debit so a rise of £3.50 a month is about right.(I am on fixed to 2010 so there have been no increases in tariff since 2005 - I have just used a little more gas)0 -
I work for BG and unfortunately a few customers have not had a letter to say that their DD has gone up (a joke really) so you are entitled to put it back down and ALL frontline staff have been briefed on this.:beer:0
