Am working now but might just have to test it out later again, purely for research you understand!!!

It's probably a good job I have not got the car today. The nearest store that worked for me yesterday is around 7 miles away. Good luck with your research. :rotfl:

    Worked just now Tesco's extra...

    6 bats 8 Fairy Platinum 50p

the AAA had security tags so I had to go round and get some stuff so it wasnt too cheap!!!! trouble was I went round and got lots of other BOGOF/discounted stuff and ended up with 5 big bags of shopping for £8, the checkout thought it was very good value, I agreed with her she kept looking at it I think there was so many offers on it, it bamboozled her, I got out quick while she was in a state of shock...

    :D

This is just because Batteries are high on theives list of what to grab. Not too big to carry, high value and easy to sell on. You had nearly £200 worth of batteries in your, so the staff will let the security guards know.

I had one follow me from the batteries to the booze aisle in a quiet store at gone 9 last night, they are only doing their job.

Ok so my store finally has some stock. Took three packs of the AA's to the checkout plus some other shopping. The only discount that kicked in was the Buy one get 2 free. I'm wondering now did I buy enough to make the other discount kick in?

People who say they are having success seem to be buying six or more. People with no success could be buying only three packs?

Its just a thought as to whats going on. I may go back tonight and try again with six packs. We will use them anyway in this house!

Anyone just bought three packs and had more than one offer come off?

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
