4 shops in one store, done 2 shops one after the other and then went home had a brew and went back and done another 2. It was Stockport extra and there was loads left, they had restocked between my visits. Also tried failsworth, there were 12 packs left but had security tags on, i got the guy to take em off but they scanned at full price so said i forgot my card, ( he didnt look very happy), also tried huddersfield road oldham but none left, the offer didnt work at the small one in oldham and also droysden. HTH

I wonder what would happen if i tried taking a few packs back with no receipt in a couple of days. They are clearly bought from tesco so do you think they'd give me a £35 credit note for returning 10 packs?

Sammy ahy would you take them back? You bought 84 packs with the intention of doing what with them? Returning? Seems strange, what will you say? I don't have a reciept, give me a credit note? Seems strange but please let us know what they say once you return them, im intrigued.

do you think in would take 84 packs of batteries back at one go the the same store? i was thinking maybe few at a time and would simply say that i bought the wrong ones!

and i didnt get them because i need batteries, i got them because everythings a struggle financially and it nice and feels realy good to take advantage of glitches when it means i can save some money and get buy little treats for me and my kids that i couldn't normally afford.

It is strange how it works in some stores and not in others, even in the same town/city. Not working jn my store sel bogof but going through at bog2f. Still a reasonable saving but not as good a deal as expected - now need to decide whether to take them back as I am sure that their cs will be wise to it by now (they will be on here!). Returning without a receipt may suggest theft (and they would refund based on the current offer).

im convinced that teso know what they are doing anyway. They often dominate the first page on here, they have such a stong overcharge policy (DTD) and im convinced that its somthing that they deliberately do or maybe an honest mistake that they choose to ignore for a while to get people into their stores. I used to always shop at asda and never stepped foot in a tesco because of how expensive i find it, now however i only go to tesco just incase i can spot a great bargin, price mistake or DTD to post on here. i believe its one big marketing ploy that works out in their advantage in the end. They now have my custom for my weekly shop
