dont knock the jobcentre, I found a cracking freelance part time job on there which pays a tenner an hour ( not national though)

look on the jobcentreplus website, there might be something doing. And look regualrly they update constantly.

as you havent worked for a while can you get on any free courses and update your skills?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Could you think about it another way? Every £ you save is a £ less to earn:- cook a meal from scratch that might save £2-3, x 7 days
bake cakes, biscuits instead of buying, that's another £1-2 each time
walk instead of car/bus, another £1-2
don't pay to park in town, park a littl out then walk, £3-4
    packed lunches for children/DH, £2 x 5 days
    grow some veg, £1-2 x 7 days

Just those could save £20-£30 a week and there must be more. Perhaps you do some already - sorry if it doesn't help

hi.. yes you do save loads by doing all that.. i do that now....and by doing cooking from scratch etc... it has now kept us within our means... just.... so where as before we were spending above what money we had coming in every week.... now we are within our budget.....

which is all thanks to the os board :T whcih i am so gratefull for......

so now i want to find a way of just getting rid of the dam debt.....

so first step..... loads of extra items on ebay.....amazon...

    step 2... find a job........

step 3....try not to wimp out of working.. when the kids start moaning.. etc......

and so on.....so my target is unrealistic......( day dream ) but what ever i get above what we are getting now will be thrown at the debt..... credit cards first me thinks.....

the more this thread is progressing.... the inspired i am...

    thanks peeps:beer:

thanks lynzpower.......i will have a look on line at the job centre....i'm not knocking then.... in the past i have had better success in phoning companies....there is normally very little in our area... unless you are a qualified technician or motor machanic

I always think this. I would love just to have an extra 100 quid a week (obviously another 100 quid a day would be top), that's only 20 quid a weekday. I wish I felt like brainstorming on an evening. Need to find myself a real shot of motivation!!
