mobiles.co.uk order help
OK, so i wish i had looked on here before hand!
So on Friday at 3:30 i ordered a blackberry bold from mobiles.co.uk
I waited patiently and on the screen it said delivery would be for the next day, they took the money for the credit check asap from my account which was a pound. About three hours late i receive and email saying thank you for your order and stated the order and then said i could track the progress online on the site and should wait for further emails updating me on my order.
A hour later i check my email and there was nothing and was already suspicious because i had not heard anything back from them and delivery was for the next morning so i thought i would go onto the tracking and logged in and it said every time that there was problems with the system and they were working on it.
So i gave up and went to bed. The next day (the day of delivery) i received no phone and had had no further emails, so i then proceeded to call them after an hour of waiting for them to answer the phone, they finally answered and when i told them the situation they then proceeded to tell me my phone was not ordered until after six oclock on their systems, which is untrue, and then said it will be processed by the end of Saturday and i should receive and email at some point confirm acceptance of the offer. Saturday and Sunday has no come and gone with no email or any contact and every time i try to track it its the same thing!
I am now finding myself in a very confused place and am worried as to the horror storied i have read on here. First of i have heard they like to never ever send a phone and just charge you for a service yu never get or cancel orders and claim you did it
any advice??

I'm about 80% certain I got my phone from them.
The website is very scrappy (I'm a web developer!) and looks rather amateurish which didn't inspire confidence.
That said, I ordered on day one and it did indeed arrive on day two. If I remember rightly, following despatch I was then able to link through from "my account" and the order to the courier service and see where it was en-route.
It looks as though there might have been a system error/failure at their end, and that has unfortunately delayed your order.0 -

Possibly DHL delivery and NOT Royal Mail.Friday - orders placed prior to 4pm on Friday delivered the following Monday, again between 7.30am and 9.00pm.
Advice - try not to order on Bank Holidays.
Not trying to defend Mobiles.co.uk, because there have been highlighted issues (lots of) in the past, but only very slight issues from myself (quickly sorted once they were informed).
Good luck for tomorrow, hope all goes well. I'll be ordering via them next Monday.

i ordered my last phone from them
no problems
as shown. the earlist you would have got your oder was today if there was a delay on their system

thanks guys i understand it is however frustrating what i will do is wait as you guys say till end of tomorrow see what happens, its just a shame they have such a tarred reputation already cause if not i might be more trusting

Delivery is usually 1 working day (with most mobile retailers), if you order on a Friday, you would expect it something to arrive on Monday (as somone has already said). Not Saturday. So tomorrow with Monday being bank holiday, you might get something as long as you have passed all the checks.0 -
thats the thing though, i received the email with confirmation and nothing after that at all and read up online about it and lots of people in many forums have had exactly the same problem with them no email saying they have been confirmed and delivery was confirmed nothing but a massive direct debit being taken for a contract and phone they have never even had so now i am very weary of them .0

I've ordered from them once before and had no problems.
They are part of the car phone warehouse so you could always try contacting them?0 -
@cazuall i know and loads of people have horror stories
@flip77 i tried but they just said that is their sister party and they do not deal directly with their problems i have to call them spent 2 hours on hold!!! and then cut off!!0
