Hi pbr...how's the make £10 a day challenge going? I signed up for £50 a MONTH and I'm still failing miserably. Where is the time with a toddler?!

I think you should include everything you do as it's all adding up in some form or the other. I end up using my MSE diary as just a diary most days - not much MSE'ing happening!

Most of what I can do I do at work so kudos to you for finding time to do anything while at home! Oh and you could try Zapper for books that you really don't want anymore. They pay pennies so it's not an option for well beloved books but might work if you want to clear some space.

This means that on Friday I finally hit my £10 target for the Make £10 a day challenge for the first time since the beginning of January!

You're doing better than I am on that one pbr! I have made one ebay sale this month for a princely sum of £1.97. And that was for a 'trendy' hat a friend left at my house and didn't want back. Oh well, as you said, we are in a far better position than those affected by the floods. They have a lot more to worry about than ebay sales...

Glad the business is doing well.

    Hi PBR:wave:

I have just read all of your diary, I really enjoyed it.

Your new location sounds lovely. I would love to be more rural.

    I will subscribe.

I roll mine over the month so if I don't hit the £10 a day it doesn't matter too much as long as I try to hit the monthly target

'Trendy' hat was a cast-off from a friend who buys £1,000 suits because 'anything cheaper looks so Debenhams'. Trendy is not a word you would associate with my own wardrobe - 'bag-lady' is more my style!)

My friend is a dear chap really but in a completely different place in his life to me. (He also gave me a sumptuous but very risque coffee table book and made a point of writing a dedication in it 'otherwise you'll just sell it on ebay' - he knows me too well!)

Wish we could move to a rural location but OH is addicted to the bright lights and has only grudgingly accepted the suburbs.

Now that's gone, I'll probably lose my current Oyster card....

:rotfl: Always the way isn't it?! Will send Oyster-protecting thoughts your way.

I'm curious to know how old you think I am! As for glamorous go-getter! :rotfl: You made my day!

The mystery of the proliferating Oyster cards. At least you have a backup now.

I guess you do know how old I am now if you've been back-calculating. pbr I have always thought you were considerably younger than me so that sets me right. Shows doesn't it that age makes no difference in the meeting of minds!
