  • Scene : Chateau Nargle, afternoon. The sun is shining but there is a howling gale outside.

A red leather purse lies forlornly on a shelf. If you listen closely you will hear the sound of a faint, angry buzzing, from thousands of microscopic moths, frantic to get out.

Igor passes by with a bucket of slops for the animals, pausing only to pat the purse and croon softly "Patience, my beauties, the mistress will let you out tomorrow...."

Yup! Another NSD today makes a total of 5!!!!!

Have had trouble sleeping the last two nights and feel like I'm coming down with something, so really struggled to get into work today. :(

Nargle, you should definitely take up writing, that's brilliant, even by your standards!:rotfl:

So far I have cleaned the bathroom, sorted out, folded and put away clothes from the airer. Luckily only one thing needing to go on the ironing pile. I attacked the pile yesterday, so it's gradually reducing again, thank goodness! :D I have also done 3 hours of "paid work", and my head is spinning!

Eeek Keiss, I'm not surprised your head is spinning!!

Oooh-er. that wind is fairly getting up...odd to have it so windy in the "summer"....much noisier with all the trees still in leaf, and a bit scary too. Hope there aren't many trees falling around the country today

Have a lovely day everyone, if you can x

And yes, I agree, it does always sound worse when the leaves are on the trees.

Hope you had a lovely day xx

    Hi everyone,

So very behind with the thread again! Sunday was NSD 2 and yesterday was NSD 3.
I know it's early but it has to be NSD 4 day today as I have no money until tomorrow -lunch boxes are having to be a bit creative! I've got some bananas in the freezer so I'm going to make banana bread later and that will have to do as fruit content tomorrow

    Have a great day all,

    honey x

    Hey all,

Been a bit AWOL as been busy (mainly drinking and getting over drinking oops!)

Friday was NSD 6 - not sure if I had declared that, then Saturday I bought drinks from shop for Sunday, then Sunday bought more drinks and takeaway! So both spendys :o

Anyway back on track - yesterday was NSD 7 :D

Not sure about today - was hoping interest would come out to make it an easy decision but don't think it has. But I haven't got enough money put aside for food at college tonight so it's either go hungry or have a spend day - I fear it will be the latter! And then tomorrow it may be the interest which is a little annoying!

EDIT: I haven't declared my NSD 5 according to my sig when I checked but I did get it (I think Thursday!) pwomise!!!
  • Hello everyone!

Another NSD caught yesterday, so I'm now half way to my target with 10 NSDs and 8 NSDs in-a-row! :j

Must dash - lots to do today!

Hope everyone is having a good day! sunshine.gif
