  • Afternoon all!

Been a bit MIA recently as been all over the place with the decorators being in and messying everything up that I clean! Admittedly the last guy who came to do the plastering was really good and even mopped up after himself and cleaned the drive! :T But we've got steptoe and son doing the painting today, so god knows what the living room will look like when I get home today! (thats if they've turned up!)

    Monday ~ Bank Holiday..
    Cos I am SOOOOOOOOOO nice!:T

    [STRIKE]Do your dailies
    tackle a frog or 5[/STRIKE]

and spend the rest of the day doing nice things with your family!

    Tuesday ~ pick a room...Bedroom(s)!
    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum

pile up all the hotspot into one mountain and pend 15 minutes sorting through it!
    Level Two

Wash soft furnishings that need doing.. throws, curtains, blinds, nets.. whatevers..
Tidy up a cupboard/drawer or other storage vessel
    Level Three
    Binbag dance
    Extras
    1. HHI.. or HH-something else if you do not I
    2. Tidy up your lists.. Toots, Frog, Christmas etc
    3. Start packing for hols!!
Tackled a HUUUUGE frog yesterday! Managed to sort out the car insurance renewal...night.mare. The frustrating thing was that every time I asked her to confirm the monthly price....it changed!! Ah well, I'm sure thats just how they operate!:(

Anyway...not sure how much I'll be able to catch up on/update, so I might just be a lurker this week!

    Hope everyone's ok

  • Downstairs all sparkly - including the loo where I went bleurggggggghhhhhh last night :(. Reaction to painkillers, I think.

Sheets all soaked in salt water and then deposited into WM. Would have been nice to have the new bed linen on for more than two days before AF tried to destroy them.

Have been forced to change back to Fairy and Comfort Pure after all these years, as I have had the most horrendous attack of eczema. Normally it's just a patch on my elbow and behind my ears, plus dry skin, but it has driven me to distraction for months, right down to chopping my nails so that I don't flay myself like a tot with chickenpops. Have had a blood test as the GP demanded, but no results back yet. And I hate smelling like a bucket of tar after immersing myself in Psoriderm.

Everywhere has been swept, scrubbed, dusted and vacuumed to within an inch of its life, the nets are in the machine as we speak and I think I am going to have to put hard flooring in there after all when I have the money (after carpeting the stairs and landing). Thought I had got the balance right with just curtains in bedrooms and doors, blind everywhere else and hard flooring with easily cleanable rugs.

I have even polished all the glass shelving and - - my laptop screen!!!!!!!

Consoling myself by tranferring things over onto my new phone. Someone dumped it because they had torn the lock key off thinking it was the charger socket :wall: so I took it apart and reassembled it and it works fine. It's right posh compared to my other one. :)

Just got time for some lunch and then off for Minion's physio. Having bandaged and taped her up as she wrenched her knee out of place earlier by standing on it  She is currently searching for her bus pass as she has lost it just before the start of school. Typical. Especially as she went out 'for the evening' with FW on Saturday and he didn't bring her back until Sunday afternoon.

    I need chocolate!!!!!

The Dragon how do you keep on top of the fluff - I have a knit your own cat problem and it drives me nuts, I've no sooner got rid of it when more appears... and before anyone suggests it - I'm not shaving the cats. :D

Off to check the list so I can get organised for getting home from work :)

Um I get Dr Dragon to sweep it up! :rotfl:, actually short of a Doggie Brazilian  I am not sure there is a way to avoid "knit your own ....", speaking of which Dr Dragon took K8fqBsjzBAbWR7xTAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg== out The Furry Dragon (tm) whilst I dealt with the laundry so the be-furred one is all a snooze now
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

I started slightly late as DH rang to say the BT man was on his way. He was here for a very short time and I am about to try and connect everything up to see if I can use the house phone and internet. I kept going while he was here, I have a pile of stuff to go in the garage and have put the DVDs and XBox games into drawers so I have another empty box :j
Going to see if my brain can sort the phone/internet out and then will see what else I can do before DH gets home in about 2 and a half hours.

    Ted's gone home now *cries*

I just had an email reminding me I'm supposed to write one of those sort of "introduce yourself" things for the new website for the local area for the PF, and I'd forgotten to do it. Cue one panicking Wolf.:eek::eek: I'm useless at that sort of thing. Anyways, I've cobbled something together, if they don't like it, they have my permission to tweak it, as long as they don't alter any facts, iyswim.

As we're choosing our own room today, I elect the kitchen, as I want that all nice and clean and tidy, even if nowhere else is. ;)

LIving room and hall - Done!!:D

Vacuumed all upstairs, and washed main bedroom linen, now out on line, with all downstairs stuff - teatowels, etc

...still nothing done in the way of school work, although I have bought a large quantity of pens and pencils, and thrown away all old paperwork.:D

Think I'll go for a quick walk. I'm trying to do this everyday, and have pretty much managed it during the holiday. I am aiming to lose weight, and get a little bit fitter. - getting there gradually!

Thrown some more bits in the bin and looked at the growing plethora of shoes in the hallway.....a job for 'later' methinks *cough*
