The massive frog area is the dining room which will eventually be our music room. We need to decide what size piano will fit in there before we can do anything else. When we have decided this we can work out if it will just be a music room or if we have room to store other things as well. I am not sure we have any furniture that will work in here yet but all our music is in boxes which is fine for the time being. Once I get the furniture I can unload all the boxes and just need to find a home for the other bits and bobs. Al these boxes are too heavy for me to move on my own at the moment so I need to wait for DH to help. Once we decide what we are doing in that room it will be a lot easier, maybe see if we can look at that tonight and then I can sort some stuff tomorrow. I am off work this week so would like to get as much done as I can before I go back next week.

    THAT'S NOT A FROG!!!!! That's PARADISE!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D

Seeing as my ground floor consists of open plan with sofas, a chair, lamp, coffee table, TV stand and

    bass on stand
    ukele
    CDs
    music stand
    amp
    music books
    tab
    more CDs
    speakers
    speaker wire
    TV
    Stereo
    Consoles
    more music

and that's about it - oh, other than the kitchen and 2nd bathroom, I could do with another room for a piano, the keyboards, guitars, bodhran, other percussion instruments and Minion's drumkit at Christmas - my suggestion is

    eat in the kitchen!!!!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Kitchen and Dining room - Done!!:D

Just had a long coffee and computer break, so must get on with the rest of the ground floor.

    Planning??? What's that then?;)

Two days left of the holiday - I feel fairly well rested, and the house, garden and allotment are reasonable, which is quite good enough! I did a lot of decluttering yesterday, in ten minute bursts - I'm easily bored.

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends, and love and hugs, especially for lady-liberty, toots and lamewolf.

We do eat in the kitchen and we have no table in the dining room. We moved house mainly so we could buy a piano, it was what we asked contributions for as our wedding present. However as we don't have one yet we decided to use the room to store the boxes for stuff needed downstairs. However this isn't working as until we move it we can't get a piano (we had enough contributed that we may be able to afford one soon with some money put in from us too). I am trying to put all the music books to one side as they will be staying in that room and then seeing what I can put where so we can see what other furniture will fit in. I need to keep the room tidy though as DH is already teaching in there so I am finding it a bit awkward. It is only my frog because we can't use it yet.

HHC 1-1.30 anyone? I am really struggling with this unpacking and would like some company, needle and haystack seem like appropriate words.

Hi Dragon been missing your signature line :)

I'm trying to avoid knit your own Rough Collie at the moment. Doesn't go down well with the parents.

Walked dog and finally found myself a new diary. Need to update it for next year. I've got items up until September already. They are all on post-it notes in my old diary and just asking to be lost.:D

The Dragon how do you keep on top of the fluff - I have a knit your own cat problem and it drives me nuts, I've no sooner got rid of it when more appears... and before anyone suggests it - I'm not shaving the cats. :D

Off to check the list so I can get organised for getting home from work :)
