what does op me? is that me? how am i greedy? have you got kids? how would you feel if you and your partner were working all the hours you could to run your house and your still in debt and all you want to see is your childs face gleaming on christmas morning. is that so wrong? such a heartless comment. what more can i do in the way of working. surely any child deserves to see their parents at some point during the week? my main focus in life is my son and if you find it wrong that i have sold things to make a bit of profit then so be it. i feel im a bloody good mum and i will do anything to make sure my son has what he needs and that he'll wake up happy on christmas morning and 2 week before christmas is his birthday.undetterred wrote: »Seems greed got the better of the OP.0 -

OP = opening poster so yes that's you.
OP - you don't need to justify what you do and how you do it. I guess though that stating you bought 'a few laptops' to sell on could seem excessive to others who perhaps couldn't afford to have even bought one in the first place? I'm not judging - just a thought.
Also please do be aware of keeping accounts and registering as a business seller if you are buying to sell (like you have done on the Sainsbobs glitch with these laptops) even if only trying to make a little extra for Christmas. There is loads of advice on doing that on these boards and having been stung like you have with this buyer, it would be worse if you fell foul of the taxman too.
Good luck tracking him down, hope it sorts for you soon. CC xx0 -

i purchased them on my credit card so by no means have i got the money to spend out on them thats the reason i purchased them. this is the first time i have ever done it so dont plan on opening a business and i will not sell anything ever again after this. its not worth the risk. i feel silly that i have done it but it was a spure of the moment thing and i just want my boy to be happy for his birthday and christmas because we've had a bit of a hard time recently.0 -

You don't need to justify to anyone why you chose to sell.
I wish you every luck - do go to the police, if you haven't already done so.xx:hello:
