paying for 2 internets aghhhhhhhhhhh

we changed from bt to sky for internet and calls.

now 10 days later Bt still have my BB and calls package active and Sky are providing my calls and BB .

I have spoken to BT , they blame Sky say they have not finalised order and Sky say they have done everything and it is BT problem

so in mean time I am being billed by both and both denying it is their fault.

What do I do ??

Did you get a MAC from BT? Did you provide it to Sky? Did they use it? Do Sky's terms say anything about you also informing your previous ISP that you are leaving? (Is this Sky LLU?)

First things first - tell BT (by phone and follow up email) that you have left them, with Sky taking over your line on X date. You may end up having to suck up the double charges :( but make sure you cancel your BT direct debit 30 days after your call/email - this gives them more than enough time to claim what they believe they're owed, but stops them continuously dipping into your account.

Yes got Mac code, Gave it to Sky, got letter from them saying BB to be changed on xxx date and got letter from BT saying BB would cease on xxx date.

After 2 calls to BT today again I eventually spoke to somone who acually sounded like they could help, said they would put cancellation for BB through and backdate it to the date BB was changed, we will see what happens.

Just so frustration as for over a week BT have been telling me " yes we know your BB was changing to SKY but the order not complete it is Skys fault and Sky telling me they have completed it and it is BT who have made mistake .

We will see what happens in the 5 days that BT said it will take to canel the BB and backdate cancellation.
