Needless to say They take a packed lunch as do most of their friends!
Have you thought about doing packed lunches for the kids, rather than school dinners? work out so much cheaper!!
One great tip i picked up from the old style board is to make a weeks worth of sandwiches and freeze them, it sounds odd but does work :rotfl:i thought they would go soggy but they dont and they are defrosted by lunch time, a great money and time saver!
Best of luck either way!
Thanks for the advice Misskaytee. I've checked out the cost of lunches at my daughters school and they do a meal deal for £1.85 which includes a drink, a hot meal or sandwich, and a desert which i didn't think was too bad. Especially since she is a "dinner" person and would take a plate of veg any day over a sandwich. :rotfl: I'm gonna see how it goes, but if she doesn't like them or wants to be with her new friends on packed lunches then she'll go onto them. I will be at work before she even gets home from school so i like the idea that she will have had at least one decent meal a day....:rotfl:
And do the sandwiches really not go soggy??? I can't work out how that would work! If she goes onto packed lunches i'll be trying that unusual tip out!Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Sign me up for £5 a day. Didn't meet August's target because I was on holiday for half of it, but I'm hopeful for September. Got a whole load of stuff listed in ebay and I'm going to get started with the surveys again.0
