My reason...I've been offered 2.5 hours overtime a week for the next 8 weeks so that should help. Plus the "free school dinners scheme" that has been running for 2 years has stopped meaning i have 3 lots of school dinners to pay for next week. Plus my daughter starts comprehensive next week and we have to pay her bus fares too. I have NO idea where i'm going to find all of this extra money to pull out so i'm gonna have to make some serious cash till i get paid at the end of September.
Something tells me its gonna be a long month!
Good luck to everyone else!
My 2 girls are at secondary school, if i were to buy school dinners everyday it would cost £11 per day/ £55 per week  to send them both to school, cheapest dinner is £3.50 x 2 and £1 each way bus fare x4.
Needless to say They take a packed lunch as do most of their friends!
Have you thought about doing packed lunches for the kids, rather than school dinners? work out so much cheaper!!
One great tip i picked up from the old style board is to make a weeks worth of sandwiches and freeze them, it sounds odd but does work :rotfl:i thought they would go soggy but they dont and they are defrosted by lunch time, a great money and time saver!
Best of luck either way!Everyday im shufflin' Proud Padder ~ All Hail The Power of Pad0 -
