    Debt-free and Proud!
Well I am still doing the challenge but lost focus a bit. Still a £66 win at the bingo has boosted my figures.

  • Good afternoon.

I am having a great day today. My missing ebay parcel turned up yesterday, after going awol for 10 days. Thankfully I had good communications with the buyer and she was great, gave me fab feedback, so I am delighted and my faith in ebay and royal mail has been restored!

Also my bank account looked surprisingly healthy this morning when I checked it! I had forgotten about some part time work which I was waiting to be paid for! So that's another £110.46 added to my total, plus £9.95 from ebay sales!

Although I have not been able to put all this money against debt payment, I have made great inroads into my Next account, which will hopefully be paid off next month!

This is such a great feeling, after Next I'm tackling my Lloyds loan!
    October make £10/day currently £11.02

are you registered self employed? if you are, yes you do.

    Thanks Aesop.

I'm not self employed - I have a full time job and a part time job both of which the tax is paid by my employer.

I'm just trying to work out if it's worth having a go setting up a shop on there....just if it's only a few £s here and there I'm not its worth doing if I have to mess with tax.

  • I seem to have hit a brick wall with this :(, Night shifts have left me a bit out of the loop with everything.

However, over the last 2 weeks I haven't paid any train fare back and for to work as someone living by me also works these hours and has given me a lift and refused to take any petrol money that I have offerred her as she claims she does this trip daily anyway. Can I add the money saved on train fares (minus a bottle of wine & chocs or something to my temporary lift-giver!)?
