  • Another 11.25 ebay profit to add :D takes me over my second goal of £200 *dances*

Next month will be harder, nothing to sell, and no big helping hand from quidco (as nothing I do tracks at the moment...) plus I'm back at uni on friday so mind will be elsewhere.. especially if the house isn't ready as I've been past it and it isn't even decorated yet! We don't even know which bills we're supposed to sort as the agents keep telling us different information so confused by everything. I'm not a fan of adult life. I'm not even fully living as an adult, i'm still within the student 'bubble' argghhhh

I'll stop now, before I bore you all! :)

Just paid off my ebay fees and withdrawn the last £40.01 out of my paypal so I'm not as tempted to spend it :) So I'm all up to date!

I did get a free box of Honey Shreddies today though! Thanks for the link Aesop :) Adding the £1 as we always have tons of cereal and usually buy different things each time. Will try for more tomorrow.
You have inspired me to be a little braver tomorrow Monkeynut, lol! How many do you get in one go? I've only got two Tescos near me so probably can't get too many, although one of them is a huge Extra store so could probably do two shops there.

Well I did 3 round in my Local Extra today, got 5 the first time, then 4 then 3. The second two times though I went to the same SA as she was ok about it the first time, and was the only checkout that didn't have a conveyor belt full of shopping! I just said that I remembered my mum had given me some vouchers to get her some! Bought a couple of 22p pastas each time too so that I wasn't spending £0.00 as I think that makes the SA less likely to get funny!

And thank you FairyClicks, I will add the Pizza Hut voucher then. I guess my thinking was that if we went there to use it we would still be spending money as the £10 wouldn't be enough for me and OH to eat and have a drink. But so long as we use it when we would have gone anyway then it is a saving, you're right!!

  • I also meant to mention something earlier ....

On Breakfast TV this morning, there was a short "interview" with a guy who's set up a new site... a bit like an auction site where you list things, but instead of selling items, you offer them for hire / rent. (there is a couple of similar sites apparently - but they didnt mention those ones by name)

Apparently you can list most things / anything that you think someone else might want to hire .. from games to pushbikes, one lady even listed her sat nav
It's more for things people dont want to actually get rid of, but by the same token don't use regularly either.

I think he said it was called "rent my items"... and he mentioned that in order to help it grow, they were offering free listing for the next month or so.

I've not yet checked it out, but thought it may be of use to someone. I may think about doing it, wonder if they "allow" furniture ?

yes I was subscribed to one of those sites, can't remember it now. Was given it through fb. I have stuff I would like to hire out but wasn't sure about the insurance side of it, etc and then decided I would rather sell and get rid, then keep in house.

not that I am doing well with that. Cannot sell DS' old clothes, and I mean the ones in good condition. Cannot sell his old toys - again good condition. and forgot to list my empty cartridges this weekend. DOH!
  • Thanks everyone for my thanks :D:o

I was really pleased wi my time, even though it was a bit longer than I'd hoped :o

I'm a bit deflated as a girl (I say girl, she's mid 30's) at work has made some quite sarcastic and nasty comments about my time/finishing position today and it's quite hurt my feelings. She's not a runner and has never done anything like that before so I'm wondering if it's just jealousy but whatever her reasons I'm quite taken aback by it, so it was really nice coming on here and reading the positive comments from you guys :o made me think 'f u, jealous biartch I did good':o :j

Aesop, my incentive was a KFC for my tea :rotfl::rotfl: needless to say it didn't touch the sides, nom :D no martin didn't, but if need takes him he is quite welcome to pm me for my just giving page lol :rotfl:

Listen BIATCH Girl! if you can run a half marathon, with some of it being uphill against thousands of runners, in that time or less.... if you can be bothered to get out of bed to train and be there on Sunday morning..... then you can make comments about our wonderful Sweets...... until then.... SHUT IT!

please free to print and leave on her desk. :p
