guys, with the Tesco codes, are they for new users only? I can't work out whether to use a £10 off a £50 code or use a 1000points on a £50 spend... I've never had enough clubcard points to make use of offers so can't work out if it's worth it... any advice? I assume you can't use 2 codes?

Can someone give me link for tesco thread - i cant find it, will bookmark for future reference.

I got a £10 Pizza Hut voucher in the post after a complaint I made a few weeks ago after we had really bad service there. Didn't end up eating after we were forgotten about for ages, so really pee'd me off at the time so I fired off a quick email when I got home.
Didn't really think any more of it, (although I had been hoping of course that some sort of voucher might arrive by way of a sorry), and lo and behold a few weeks later it did :D
Am going to play by the rules though and not count it in this challenge as it's not something I would usually spend on, except occasionally when we treat ourselves, but a nice tenner for a quick email. Maybe I'll add it to this challenge when I actually use it if we would have gone there even if we'd not got the voucher.

Oh and we got another 12 boxes of Shreddies today :o
And 8 bags of 22p pasta. Although for anyone who can't find the pasta (mentioned in one of the Tesco threads in the Grabbit board), I did also notice that the big 3kg bags of Tesco pasta are reduced from about £3.50 to £2, which is pretty cheap. Obviously not as cheap as value stuff, but it is less sticky imo :)

Oh nice one :) You should definitely include it!! the not counting rule is more for things on offer - for example if i buy 2 packs of caviar reduced from £30 each to £10 each i can't really count it as £40 savings unless i tend to buy caviar at the higher price - technically its cost me £20 that i wouldn't have spent :D if i buy 2 packs of fish fingers in a BOGOF then i would include that as savings as i tend to buy them anyway - thats my idea about it anyway! Your voucher means you get to eat for free - thats definitely a saving in my book!

I have been reading this thread for the last two months and I am just so impressed by all of you. As someone that has just moved onto the property ladder, I do not have anything to ebay and I would love to join the thread but just don't know how I would ever meet the target on surveys alone!

It can be done! :D I sold something last week, but that was the first thing I've sold since the end of June (due to a combination of holidays and laziness, lol). I don't think I've managed £10 a day, but I'm usually at least around the £200 mark by the end of the month. I've not even had that much time for surveys and things lately so I do think that it can be done, it just depends how much time you can devote to it.

Why not start at £5 a day, or even £2.50 a day until you get into it? £2.50 a day is easily doable on surveys alone, and that will give you chance to sign up for things and get started. By the end of the month you will probably be upping your target and raring to go for the october challenge!

Alexman - Hope everything went well today :)

Sweetpeas - Congratulations! What a great time! :T

Electric Comperella - I had a 10 listings a month restriction but managed to get it up to 100 a month by adding a payment method for my seller fees. Does it give you the option of getting a higher limit anywhere?

I've been doing a few things - surveys, reviews, bonus points coupons, etc, but nothing to show for it yet. Well, I do have nearly £10 in mysurvey and something similar in TCB, but I'm trying to save them until I get a bit more (possibly for Xmas), so don't want to cash out just for the sake of my total, iykwim.

I did get a free box of Honey Shreddies today though! Thanks for the link Aesop :) Adding the £1 as we always have tons of cereal and usually buy different things each time. Will try for more tomorrow.
You have inspired me to be a little braver tomorrow Monkeynut, lol! How many do you get in one go? I've only got two Tescos near me so probably can't get too many, although one of them is a huge Extra store so could probably do two shops there.
