Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

wrong:)
they cover road tax
nothing else
never did
They certainly did when I was a mechanic.
They can be used temporarily by the business for matters such as research (manufacturer/modifier), demonstration of the vehicle or equipment thereon, taking for export, disposal, repair, testing - including to weighbridge to ascertain plated weights.0 -

I guess the problem here is that the car is in probate and who gets it is being disputed, It would seem the previous owner died without leaving a will, but the car was insured at the time of death. It is unlikely another person could drive it on their own insurance as this normally involves permission from the owner/registered keeper which would be a little diffecult. Just a question, what do all the other people involved and solicitors say about moving the car? at the moment no-one owns it and only the solicitors can make any desscisions about moving the car as they are the ones that have controll of the estate untill things are finaly sorted.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
Wrong. There is more than one grade of trade plate. One covers tax and insurance and is used by platers and car sales. The other is a workshop one that also covers no MOT as well as tax and insurance.
Where can I get one of these? I've got an old jag with no brakes, exhaust or floor and need to move it from one place to another, these would be really handy!
Seriously though, i've never heard or seen any trade plates that cover MOT, I can't see how this would work?I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling0 -
