BT price Rise Again

I shared the sentiments about BT on this thread and in particular the way they seem unaccountable for their frequent price rises that outstrip inflation. Seems that they need to fill their pension fund black hole at our expense.
Following good reviews on the MSE phone forum, I switched to IDNet and paid up front for 12 months. Saved £50 a year on their Anytime Lite package. No DD's - paid by credit card.
Very efficient and UK customer service as well

Does the latest price rises affect the line rental costs for BT Basic?Butterfly_Brain wrote: »yes all line rentals will rise plus extra on the free evening and weekend calls packages:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
