NTL broadband and wireless router

i have read somewhere in this forum a while back where someone managed to get NTL to provide them a free wireless router. Is this still valid?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

I have been following this thread with an interest, but no-one seems to have replied!
I too was thinking of asking...I mean threatening NTL (I'm on 4mb service) to give me a wireless router but just can't conjure up the courage to do it.:o I'm sure if we tried to give AOL as an example as they provide free wireless router maybe it would give them something to think about??0
