                    Hello,
i was wondering if any one could help me. I maxed myself out and bought a new kitchen on ebay from a kitchen company.
I won but have just noticed that it says on the bottom that the buy it now price included vat so does that mean i have to pay vat as it didnt sell for the buy it now price as i dont have anymore money? I have over 1000 positive feedback and dont want to ruin it on this.
They also say cash credit/debit card chq accepted but nothing about paypal so does that mean they wont accept it as a form of payment as i know ebay makes all listing accept paypal
I really dont want to lose this auction but starting to think i am over my head now:(

Ebay listings prices should include VAT. Sellers are not allowed to list and add VAT postcsale. From your description it sounds like vat is included. Sellers have to accept paypal just follow the link from the listing'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Also the paypal logo should be there and will be the default service shown if you go through checkout.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I would imagine that it will just mean that 20% of whatever price you bought it at will be VAT.
For example, if the BIN was £1000, then £200 of that would be VAT.
If you bought it for say £900, then £180 of that would be VAT.
The bottom line, is that the price you won it at should be the total price you pay (with the VAT already included). And as stated, you should be able to pay VIA paypal.

They may have put the wrong email address with their listing. If that is the case, you will have to cancel the transaction and get them to re-invoice you through paypal. Unfortunately, it can take several days for your cash to be re-called when you cancel a transaction.

It takes 5 days. Before cancelling, email them first. I've had this before and the person's Paypal account had a different email address. They added the email to their account and was able to claim the payment. Saved a lot of hassle.0 -

That is probably the case, in which case ask them politely for the correct paypal address. If they refuse just tell them that you no longer want to proceed.
They will have large fees to pay so won't want you walking away from this...I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. it means exactly as it says, it includes VAT not that it's excluding VAT and you'll have to pay it.
It also more than likely means that because you've paid VAT you'll get a VAT receipt.0
