I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express which is fine and although the web site talked of parking charges there wasn't one for my two night stay. The Hilton Metropole is plusher and more expensive(Two coffees £8.80 for example) but what really grates is their attitude to parking costs. Not only expensive but if you wish to leave and then return they charge again. It's on my list of places not to stay again.
