Do I think Sue will swap Sultan for your tom cat? Hang on, let me just go call her....

    And the answer is.....

    No :rotfl:

Ah well, worth a try, I suppose.

I'm sure the only reason she wouldn't swop is that my old boy doesn't have his courting tackle any more. :rotfl:

Yes, I am sure that is the case. In fact, she even told me so on the phone :rotfl:

I'm so pleased you told me that, Fridaycat.
My old boy (called Murphy who's laid in a tiny bit of sun coming through the kitchen window hoping for some chicken scraps) says he feels much better knowing it was something that he didn't have any control over rather than his character traits, personality and health issues. ;)

    They are so beautiful

Can I ask how much they are? I love the look of them since I saw them a few years back.

Pet quality go from £450. My spotted brown boy Neeko was £600 because he is show/breeder quality but if I wanted him on the active register as a breeder he would have cost me £1200. My Silver was £550 because he is an F5 which is 5 generations from the ALC but he would have also cost me double on the active register.

See photos below. The first was my first Bengal Oscar who died. He was pet quality and you can tell by his coat. His coat was lovely when a kitten but got a lot ticked by a year old.

Neeko has a very tight soft glittered coat and so does Keisha my Brown Marble bengal but because she has a marble circle pattern she is classed as just pet quality.

So you get what you pay for the higher price the cat the nicer the coat and looks.

Neeko is my show boy :D

Keisha (pet quality but lovely tight silky coat £200 because she was sold via a free ad)

How has Neeko got on in the shows, Kimberley?

I was going to show my two as originally the breeder thought that they would both be suitable. Unfortunately, Lulabelle has a bit of an obession with Spot's tail and is always chasing and pouncing on it :D Anyway, the upshot is that there is now a very slight, hardly noticeable, little lump in his tail, which the breeder thinks Lula did by being too rough, so this will rule him out :(

But Lula and I will be going to our first show on Oct 1st - Tabby & Exotics - in Warwickshire, so we'll see how we get on :) If we both like it, we'll continue to do it. Lula & Spot's older brother (single kitten from previous litter) is a snow and has been doing very well - Arcticstar on the website that I shared earlier. First cat on the left hand side as you open the page.

Neeko looks fabulous - if a little handy with his claws on the cardboard. :)

please post how you go on at the shows - and Good Luck.

Naughty Lulubelle - maybe she wanted to be the only 'star' in the houselhold. ;)

Not very well, quite a naughty boy on his first outting so no good for showing because he would get disqualified for playing up. Some cats like the shows but some find it quite stressful as mine did. My boy didn't like being in a cage at the shows with all the noise.

I hope your two do well at the shows and behave because it's quite good for us humans.

Thanks, yes Lula is a little bossy. The main thing I am concerned with is splitting them up, even for a day, they are so much in each others' pockets! I will let you all know how I get on anyway - if we do well, there will be no shutting me up :rotfl:

Well, as I said, it will only be Lula that I show due to her messing up Spot's tail, but I agree with you - if she finds it stressful in any way, it will be her one and only show, we both have to be happy with the day! Luckily, I'm going with my breeder who will be showing me all the ropes and giving support. :)

I am very sorry to hear that. It is always a difficult time and I apologise if I have made things worse for you :( I have had three cats pass over to the Rainbow Bridge in my adult years of keeping cats, and I think of all three regularly. Giving you lots of ((hugs)).

You've not made it worse, it's good to see little kittens.
